On this special day, we celebrated a very very special occasion of a very very special friend, Artika! I admire this little precious gem of mine, cos she has been through so much in her life but still in the end able to come out strong and unwilling to let the past weigh down on the prospects of the future. I love her so much and i cud nvr ask for a better fren who has always been there in the past, present and insya allah it will continue on till the future....
Me, ifah and hanim had met first at ct hall, thinking dat we cud go buy a cake for her to surprise her.. but we were caught red-handed purchasing a mini ice cream cake from Gelare Cafe..  hehe..
Then later on we had lunch at Sakura Capitol and we had a large spread of sumptuous dishes such as Tom Yam Soup, Dry Chilli Chicken, Prawn Fritters and Beef Kai Lan.. 
And not forgetting our mini ice-cream cake... but poor thing our birthday girl was not feeling that well  ! but still that didnt stop her from trying to enjoy herself amongst good company like US! 
After lunch, we decided to head off to a nice quiet sitting place so that ika cud open her presents and then we could exchange our new year presents.. we decided to sit across the sports recreation centre where there were 4 grey stools for us to sit oN! jus nice! 
However we failed to realise that there were many banglas there too, who were taking pictures. And for the record, SO WERE WE! so we oso felt like we belong to the clan or something... 
Ika of cos loved her presents and I loved all the presentsi got too! Thanks hanim for such wonderful gifts! Thanks ika for making something for me... Thanks ifah..oops.. i mean latifah (this was becos we came across a minah that was named ifah and she refused to be called that, fearing it was minaish to be called that!) wrote me a sweet sweet card~ anyways hoped u liked my gifts~
AFter the exchange of presents, latifah went off to meet khairul while hanim went to meet zali. Ika went home as she wasnt feleing well.. hanim, latifah and me decided to go bowling at raffles marina country club, where ashraf works, to go play bowling! so they took bikes while i took public transport! and guess what?! i reached ferst..!
Anyways it was great fun playing bowling and i was designated the title of LONGKANG QUEEN by my darling boyfren.. somehow it improved my luck! kekhkekhehe... 
Overall it was an awesome day out! love ya guys, and u all are so important to mE~

Like i said my boyfriend is a nature freak..so we decided to go where he has always been pleading me to go.. and i must say the place is jus so beautiful.. even though a lot of the areas were closed as they were gg thru redevelopment but i jus love love love the place...
we also paid a visit to the national orchid garden where we feasted our eyes on beautiful beautiful orchid.. and we oso saw many couples taking their wedding photos there.. that is where i wanna take my photos too k honey?!
anyway, we saw wong li lin and her hunky husband.. hmm..whats his name ah? i cant remember it at this moment and her kid.. she is so cute.. and guess what?! she's pregnant again..
anyway if u guys are lost at where to go to in singapore, pls drop by the Botanical gardens and enjoy the wonders of nature!

although the organization hit some glitches along the way.. it went all gd
first was the weather, it was raining! so everyne became late esp those on the bikes... BUt the gd thing was we didnt rent a BBQ pit! so we were saved from the rain as we bbqed under the shelter! while we saw others scurrying for shelter under the rain and some trying to prevent their food and coal from getting wet from the heavy rain using an umbrella.. im so evil.. hehe
anyway it was an enjoyable day filled with gd BBQ food.. esp love the cheese hotdogs..
we played card games, charades which the girl team won of cos haha....
all in all an awesome day as always!

a day at the Jurong Bird Park!
|
|
mus have been eons since ive been to the Jurong Bird Park! but on this faithful day, me and my baby embarked on a journey through this bird paradise.. At the moment, the Bird Park is going through massive redevelopment so there were many areas that were closed... We watched the Bird shows and walked around the Bird Park which was relatively small as compared to the Zoo...
The most exciting part of the day was our last destination , the Lory Loft... We entered a huge cage like building which houses millions of lorys.. lorys are a type of bird that are very m,uch like parrots except they are smaller in size... Although they were quite noisy, they were so adorable and cheeky too! My baby bought bird's feed and tehy all rushed towards him.. My baby was so scared that they would bite off his ear.. but that didnt stop him! He got another helping of bird's feed and this time according to him, he did more professionally! haha

day in Johor...night in the Safari
|
|
it was a fun fille day out with my baby as always,. this time we wwent to johor in then morning to catch the 12 pm Chronicles of Narnia show at City square.. and my oh my.. thetre were so many ppl.. prob cos it was the school holidays and on tuesdays, its only RM6! yes! RM6 which is equivalent to $2.75 in singapore!!! We ate a slice of cake each at secret recipe before the movie and then walked down to pizza hut and ate the mediterranean set! POWER!! very satisfied stomachs!
so we headed back home n decided to go Night Safari..
we went there a lil early, so we hung out at ZOO entrance and took some cute pictures.. haha...
when we finally entered we were greeted warmly by the staff and then there was this one male staff that was super cute. haha... but my baby cuter la of cos...
we took the tram and had a funfilled ride looking at the nocturnal animals...
Everything was perfect except we had to give the animal show a miss cos it wasoredi so late and i lived so far away.. so sorry baby.. next time k?

a day at the Zoo Zoo Zoo!

its been eons since ive been to the zoo and my baby was dying to go too so we headed down to the singapore zoological gardens one fine day
The smell was very intimidating.. hehe... but it was really nice to be where we were.. reminded me of my memorable childhood moments..
The animal show that they had was superbly entertaining and i really had a lot of fun.. in fact the MC of the show happened to be my fren from sec school! I WANT HER JOB!!
It was a really awesome day.. especially when its spent with awesome company.. thanks baby..
